Take Control of your Personal Information
You have privacy rights and choices, and at Smart City, we take this very seriously. That’s why we work to protect your data and your rights related to how we use and disclose your personal information.
How does Smart City use my information?
We use your information to deliver your service and customize your experience. We also share information in ways that may be considered a “sale” of personal data under the California Consumer Privacy Act. This is really focused on how we can best tailor advertising to your interests.
To this end, we do allow third-party advertising companies to collect information about your activity on our websites through cookies and similar technologies (such as web beacons, pixels, social network plugins, and mobile ad identifiers). These ad companies use the information they collect to help us provide more relevant Smart City advertisements and other advertising purposes.
What choices do I have about the use of my information?
You have choices about whether certain information collected on websites and mobile applications is used to customize this kind of interest-based advertising. Depending on the ad network we are using for a particular type of product or service, we may use different ad networks. In any event, we will only use ad networks which are members of the NAI or IAB industry associations, or GoogleAds.
